Ferrari has been producing cars for road and track for over fifty years, combining passion, design, and technological perfection. Among their numerous award-winning machines, perhaps the most popular model is the GTO "Grand Turismo Omologato." Offering drivers the performance of a competitive racing car (Ferrari originally intended only to build cars for the tracks) with the impeccable handling and comfort of a practical street vehicle, it is no wonder the Ferrari GTO is one of the most sought after collector cars today. The legendary Testa Rossa and Spyder also peak the interest of collectors around the world. |
1954 Ferrari 375 America Vignale Cupe - $1,650,000.00 |
An outstanding one-of-a-kind Ferrari of the early 50s. Vignale designed this car and there is only one sister car with almost identical lines. This car was featured on the Ferrari stand of the 1954 Paris Auto Salon and later at the New York Auto Show. Other than a repaint from the original color it is in all original unmolested condition including the interior with 11,000 original from new. The sister car won despite it's non-matching number engine Best in class at Pebble Beach, Best of Show at the FCA Nationals and at Cavallino. This car here has the original matching number engine and is a guaranteed entry to every Concours event world wide. The powerful large displacement 4.5 liter engine of Lambredi design produces 300hp and the car was capable of a top speed of 155mph making it one of the fastest and most luxurious rides in the 1950s. The lines are simply breathtaking and these photos don't even give the car justice. |

This 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4, commonly known as 4-cam, is a very special unique example. It is one of only 19 cars out of a total production of 331 cars built as a light weight in Aluminum. What makes this car even more special though than all other alloy bodied 275GTB/4 is that the car was entered by Luigi Chinetti's legendary North American Racing Team N.A.R.T. at Watkins Glen and also at the 24 hours of Daytona. Bob Groasman and Ronnie Bucknam were the pilots at the Six Hours of Watkins Glen in 1968 and placed 9th OA. Sam Posey and Ricardo Rodriguez drove the car in the 24 Hours of Daytona in 1969. Despite gearbox problems and almost three hours of repair time in the pits they still finished a very respectful 2nd in Class and 23rd OA. The car has been in the hands of various collectors and was acquired by us out together with 20 other classic Ferrari out of the Frits Kroyman collection in the Netherlands. The car is presently undergoing Ferrari Classiche certification and some cosmetc work. The original matching number engine has just been installed and is freshly rebuilt. This 275GTB/4 qualifies for a variety of exciting Vintage Motor Sport events including the Le Mans Classic, but it will always be a welcomed entry at any Concours d'Elegance or Ferrari Club Meet. It is an important piece of Ferrari Motorsport History in the United States and a pleasure to drive. |
